Boca Raton, has announced the appointment of Maria A. Bonomo as vice president in the company's restaurant/hospitali­ty division for the newly estab­lished Orlando office.

Bonomo will focus on site selection and brokerage of exclusive restaurant business­es, commercial restaurant properties and all entertain­ment properties in the Orlando area. The Prakas Group, Inc. recently expanded the company beyond its Boca Raton head­quarters with an office in Orlando.

Bonomo comes to The Prakas Group with 22 years experience including emolovment in the retail development, hospitality, architecture, and construction businesses. Her previous employer was RRC Property Advisors, a developer of shop­ping centers located in Orlando, where she served as a sales associate.

Additional experience includes serving as owner/oper­ator of K Restaurant and Wine Bar and as director of architec­ture and construction for Premiere Foods.

Bonomo attended Rhode Island School of Design in Providence and graduated with her bachelor's degree in archi­tecture from Parsons Institute, New York. Originally from New York City, she has lived in South Florida for 14 years. She cur­rently resides in Orlando. Her current professional affiliations are IGSG, GRKW, and KRA.

The Prakas Group, estab­lished in 2000, is on track to close over $300 million in sales over a six-year period. It is headquartered at 705 Kast Palmetto Park Road in Boca.
