Alan Macaulay joined the Prakas Group in 2000, and currently serves as Vice President of Leasing. He brings with him a wealth of experience gained through over thirty years of profitable private investments representing himself and others in commercial and residential real estate and business transactions in California, Texas, Virginia and Florida.
Alan is a licensed Real Estate Agent. He has a B.S. in Business from the University of Florida, a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, and is a graduate of the prestigious National Defense University in Washington, DC. His activities in the investment arena have included Feasibility Studies, Project Cost and Income Projections, Demographic Studies, Site Selections, Financing, Property Acquisitions, Build to Suit Projects, General Business Operations, Advertising, and the Leasing and Selling of Properties and Businesses.
In 1986, Alan became the founder, President and CEO of Delpar Enterprises d.b.a. National Tire Warehouse, Inc. (NTW) in South Florida. During the next ten years he was responsible for virtually all operations of the Corporation as he built it into a multi-million dollar automotive service center. In 1996 he personally negotiated the terms and conditions of the sale of the business to Sears, Roebuck and Company.
Alan is also a decorated Marine Corps pilot and combat veteran, and his awards include the Silver Star, The Distinguished Flying Cross, The Legion of Merit and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. He has resided in Palm Beach County for the past 18 years with his wife Petitesa. They are members of St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church, and Alan recently finished serving his third year as President of the local chapter of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA).
