About Stan Prakas

With over 25 years of restaurant experience, Stan Prakas joins The Prakas Group as restaurant hospitality specialist in the company’s Restaurant/Hospitality division. His position will focus on site selection and brokerage of exclusive restaurant businesses, commercial restaurant properties and all entertainment properties in South Florida. Stan’s rich and varied background includes owning and operating several nightclubs in Columbus, OH, Atlanta, GA, and Boca Raton, FL.

Stan Prakas, brother of A. Tom Prakas, president of The Prakas Group, says he is a part of a family with a long tradition of restaurant experience and has been a part of the business “all of his life.”  His incredible depth of knowledge of the restaurant/hospitality business is the perfect fit for the firm, bringing yet again an immeasurable level of experience to The Prakas Group that no other brokerage business can match.

A native Ohioan, born in Portsmouth, Stan has lived in South Florida for the past 18 years. Stan presently resides in Delray Beach, FL with his wife and son.
